"I have an arthritis related problem in my right foot and ankle. This isn’t something that can be “cured” and therefore needs treatment to alleviate the pain. Mr Yates diagnosed and initiated my treatment with Hylaluronic injections which gives virtually instant relief and lasts for approximately 6 months with the most recent injection being effective for almost a year. From a relationship viewpoint Mr Yates is responsive and personable as well as professional in all of his consultations. On one occasion during the Covid pandemic he phoned me on his day off and spoke jointly to myself and my GP for over 30 mins when a flare up of my ankle had occurred which they diagnosed as cellulitis. He then arranged an MRI scan for the same day and prescribed medication accordingly. This is an example of Ben Yates’s care for his patients and I wouldn’t want any other consultant in his place."
